Rifle Club
A.C. McCorry gave up part of his land for a rifle range in October 1925. The thirty members who were sworn in had some months to wait before the formation of the range. The club was later to go into recess in 1941 while the volunteer Defence Corps practiced. Members of the rifle club helped carry out drill and rifle exercises. Tennis Club
By 1927 there were four tennis courts in use, the original tennis courts were erected during the Army's stay in Nungarin, but the tennis club moved to the courts near the swimming pool in 1962 and have since had flood lights erected.
